Braxton had his closing ceremonies this week and his team, Tennessee Vols, were the 2010 division champs!! They were awesome and all of them played their little hearts out every game! We are so proud of them.

Wedding

Saturday was the most beautiful day and one of the sweetest weddings I have ever seen. We were all (me, Brian, Braxton and Mason) honored to be a part of this special day for Lauren and Jeffrey. Brian and I have been gearing the boys up for months trying to get them prepared for their "duty" because I did not want them to ruin this day for anyone, especially for the bride and groom! I must say that they did their job well and were the cutest ring bearers I have ever seen...but I am their mother so I guess I would say that! From putting their outfits on without a fuss, to standing and taking lots of pictures, having to be on their best behavior the entire weekend...I couldnt have ask for anything better. I am so proud of them! The sweetest moment of the day was when those two boys saw their LaLa for the first time looking beautiful in her wedding gown...brought tears to my eyes and I so wish I had a picture of their faces. They love her so much and they are so lucky to have her as their Aunt! We had such a good time at the wedding and reception and we wish Lauren and Jeffrey all the best!

Muffins with Mom

Braxton had "muffins with Mom" Monday morning at his school and I am so glad that my principal let me come in a little late so that I could go! It was so cute, the kids served their mom's muffins and juice, then they did several sweet songs and read us their cards they made for us. Braxton did very well on his:
My mom's name is "Amanda"
She is "33" years old
Her favorite color is "pink"
I love it when she cooks "Macaroni and Cheese" for me

I would like to buy her "a ring" for Mother's Day

He is such a sweet boy and I am so proud to be his Mom!!

Mothers Day weekend at the beach!

After Braxton's program Friday, I checked him out a little early to head down to the beach for the weekend. This was a last minute plan, but turned out to be so much fun! We had to leave daddy at home because of work but we got to spend time with Nana and Papa and be a Braxton's most favorite place! He LOVES the beach and asks all the time when we are going, so I was so excited to tell him we were getting to go! He kept saying " I cannot believe it, I cannot believe it, we really get to go the beach!" The weather was perfect and we were so glad to get away for the weekend!
Here are the boys and their Papa-enjoying the ocean

Building sandcastles with mom!

Braxton, practicing "skim boarding"

Enjoying breakfast on the balcony

This is Braxton favorite thing to do at the beach...crab hunting!!

Dinner at Sea and Suds

On the way home Braxton was already asking how long it would be before we went back...hopefully the oil situation won't keep us away too long!! I could not have asked for a better Mother's Day and I am so blessed to have these two boys! They are the reason I get to celebrate this special day!

Field Day/Kindergarten Program

Friday, Braxton had his family day at school, which back in my time we called it field day! It was a great day and I loved spending the day with him.

Here is he getting ready for the first event

This was quite humerous...I did not realize that my child had never hulla hooped before, and he was so frustrated that he couldn't do it.

Getting ready for the "horse race"

This was a new experience for him as well, but he caught onto it quick!

Bouncing horses!

Love this smile! He had the best time!

Eating lunch with his buddy Jameson

Braxton had his own little fan club for his awards program...Mason was so excited to be at "brudders" school, daddy came, and Mimi, Maw Maw, Paw Paw, Nana and Papa all came to see him sing and get his certificate.

Braxton and his teacher, Mrs. Pat. She has been awesome this year and he has learned so much more than I ever imagined he would in Kindergarten. He is such a good reader, his DIBELS scores were fantastic and we owe it all to this sweet lady! I am so thankful that he had a great Kindergarten year and he is so lucky to have her as his very first teacher! Thank you Mrs. Pat!!!!
