6 Month Well-Check

Look at that pitiful baby!! What was supposed to be a well-check ended with a pretty bad ear infection for this sweet boy. He had to go back the next week to get his shots because he was sick, and now 2 1/2 weeks later he is still on antibiotics. The first round wasn't working for him so he had to get something stronger. So hopefully they are working, we will find out when he goes back next week for his 2nd flu shot.

6 month stats:
height 281/4 inches
weight 19.3 lbs
head 17 1/2 inches in comparison with his brothers at 6 months he is a little smaller than Braxton was and a good bit smaller than our Mason (Mason has just always been on the "thick" side)
taking about 7 oz every 3 to 4 hours
eating 1 stage 2 breakfast and 2 stage 2 dinners!! So far we haven't found anything that he doesn't like!
size 3 diapers
size 9-12 mos clothes
talking and laughing all the time, beautiful big smile (most of the time) loves to be outside. Loves his new swing he has on the swing set.
I love to hear him first thing in the morning talking in his bed and the big gummy grin I get when I peak over the crib! Ahh...the little things!!!
He started daycare a few weeks ago and so far has done well. They take very good care of him and he has plenty of little friends there that come by and check on him :)
HAPPY 6 MONTHS our precious baby boy!! We love you so much!!

Here we go Mason, Here we go!!

That is the chant this little slugger has waited 2 years to hear!! He was grinning from ear to ear at his first practice when he heard people cheering for him. He loves it!! They have had several games so far and he has done fantastic. He has literally been swinging a bat since he could walk and he has been hitting off the pitching machine for over a year now. He bypassed t-ball and went straight into junior machine pitch. His little team is TINY!! They are so cute and most of them have no clue what is going on but they are fun to watch. Mason is on first base and has made many outs already!! I am so glad that he finally gets to do his own thing instead of always having to watch Braxton! I love watching him...always ready on the field, hitting the ball, and learning what to do when the ball comes his way. I am not nearly as stressed out watching him as I am with Braxton. They are so different, both very good at sports, but very different in the way that they handle themselves under pressure!! Mason, we are so glad that you are getting to play ball, you have waited so  long and you have been so patient! We are looking forward to watching you! I love that silly grin when I give you a thumbs up or when you hear us cheer your name...when you are happy I am happy!
