Girls Trip to Mexico

The El Dorado Royale Resort and Spa...they know how to wine and dine and pamper and just plain spoil you rotten! I have never been to an all-inclusive and I will be returning to another in the near future!! It was fabulous, the food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and willing to cater to your every need. They had about 8 restaurants on this resort, I didnt even count how many pools they had but it seemed that everyday we found a new one, and too many bars to count. The beaches were beautiful and crystal clear. We had the best time filling our guts every 4 hours with 5 course meals, trying out different adult beverages, and making great memories...that stay in Mexico! Ha Ha!!
This is what greeted us at the airport to take us to the resort...can't get much better than a Cadillac Escalade Limo!
This is what the Casitas looked like.

Our View every morning
Enjoying some lunch the first day. This was the start to our new diet that consisted of consuming at least 3000 calories per meal!

Me, April and Lindsay taking a siesta. Those pool beds were great and very comfortable.

One of the pools with a swim up bar. There are Melissa and Lindsay planning our next move!
Iguana's, they were everywhere at the resort

April's birthday breakfast. She turned the big 40 while we were there.

This is how we got around the resort because we surely didn't want to get any more exercise than we had to!!
Dinner one of the nights
Our favorite bar...JoJo's. I believe this was a blue tequila shot...
We pampered ourselves at the spa. That was the best massage that I have ever had
We became great friends with these guys! He is making the best shot ever with the worst name ever...not even gonna say it, but it was delicious.
Last dinner at the Italian Restaurant
And its back to the airport in the same style as we arrived!!

I had such fun with these girls and miss not getting to work with them everyday! But I will settle for a girls trip to Mexico anytime!!

Father's Day

Brian has been looking at boats for well over a year now and has wanted one for about 5 years...the opportunity arose for him to get his wish!! He so deserves it, he works hard, takes such good care of us, and loves his boys so much! So this Father's Day will be one for the books!

Happy Father's Day! You are the best dad in the world...(next to my own of course)!!

Jennifer and Josh

My cousin Jennifer tied the knot this weekend in Selma and Braxton was her ring bearer. Everything turned out perfect for her special day and it was great to get to see family that we only see once in a while! We wish Jennifer and Josh the best and hope that they have many, many years of happiness. Thanks for letting Braxton be a part of your day!

This picture had us all cracking up, this is so not Braxton and they pretty much had to place him in this position. That is Jennifer pulling Josh's tie, and the groomsman trying to pull him back, with sweet embarrassed Braxton hanging on his leg!

Biscuits Buddies

Saturday night, Braxton's baseball team was a part of the Montgomery Biscuits game. They called out their name on the loud speaker and they ran to their positions on the field. The Biscuits players followed after and they stood out there for the National Anthem and the players signed a baseball for each child. It was so cute. The boys looked like little ants out there on that big field! We love going to the Biscuits games. The boys always have a great time.

Wedding

Saturday was the most beautiful day and one of the sweetest weddings I have ever seen. We were all (me, Brian, Braxton and Mason) honored to be a part of this special day for Lauren and Jeffrey. Brian and I have been gearing the boys up for months trying to get them prepared for their "duty" because I did not want them to ruin this day for anyone, especially for the bride and groom! I must say that they did their job well and were the cutest ring bearers I have ever seen...but I am their mother so I guess I would say that! From putting their outfits on without a fuss, to standing and taking lots of pictures, having to be on their best behavior the entire weekend...I couldnt have ask for anything better. I am so proud of them! The sweetest moment of the day was when those two boys saw their LaLa for the first time looking beautiful in her wedding gown...brought tears to my eyes and I so wish I had a picture of their faces. They love her so much and they are so lucky to have her as their Aunt! We had such a good time at the wedding and reception and we wish Lauren and Jeffrey all the best!

Muffins with Mom

Braxton had "muffins with Mom" Monday morning at his school and I am so glad that my principal let me come in a little late so that I could go! It was so cute, the kids served their mom's muffins and juice, then they did several sweet songs and read us their cards they made for us. Braxton did very well on his:
My mom's name is "Amanda"
She is "33" years old
Her favorite color is "pink"
I love it when she cooks "Macaroni and Cheese" for me

I would like to buy her "a ring" for Mother's Day

He is such a sweet boy and I am so proud to be his Mom!!
