Setting up camp

I swear we just finished one ball season and it is already time for another. Braxton has started practice for the spring season, 3 days a week so far, and I think he will do real well this year. I am not a huge sports fan and would not enjoy watching baseball if my son were not out there. I suppose I better start liking baseball, football, and anything else that the boys may play, because I'm pretty sure that I will be keeping the bleachers warm and setting up camp at many ball fields between the two of them! Good luck on the upcoming season, Braxton, all that matters is that you try your best and HAVE FUN!!

By the way, to the few Tennesee fans that we know, his team this spring is the Tennesee Vols!!!

I wish I had a little red box

I love it when I hear the boys singing (and they dont know I'm listening) cute little songs they learn at school. Mason sings songs all the time but usually skips words, makes up his own or I just cant understand him. This song I understood the whole way through! We were waiting in the car at baseball practice and I heard him in the back seat start singing and I recognized the song so I listened closer and here is what he was singing:

I wish I had a little red box to put my mommy in,
I'd take her out and go *kiss* kiss*kiss,
And put her back again!
I wish I had a little red box to put my "Brudder" in,
I'd take him out and go *kiss*kiss*kiss,
And put him back again.

He continued with the entire family, all of his little friends and our dog! It was the sweetest thing and just melted my heart.

6 TEETH...

...and counting. I cannot believe that this child has already lost 6 teeth! His permanent teeth are slowly making their appearance. Here's hoping for beautiful straight new teeth...:0)

Sleeping Beauty...

or lack there of!! This sweet boy has been getting up several times during the night. I feel like I have a newborn again. We have been working on him going to sleep without someone lying in the bed with him, and it was at that time that he started to get up during the night. He has done very well at the going to bed without anyone with him but he is still getting up during the night. He did go 3 nights without getting up and then last night got up 4 times...ugh!!! I thought we were about "over the hump". We will keep working on it and hopefully Mommy will be back to a full nights sleep soon!!

SNOW DAY!!

Oh what fun we had in the snow!! The boys loved every minute of it~ They enjoyed making their snowman...actually they rolled the snowballs up and went inside to get warm while Papa and Daddy got stuff together to decorate him.

The highlight of the day was Papa making them a homemade sled out of a rubbermaid container lid...

Here we go....poor Dad and Brian got a workout that day!

After pulling them around so long, we headed over to Mom and Dad's neighbors house and tried out the hill.

It was a great day and we loved seeing them enjoy the snow so much. I think we will plan a ski trip for next year and let them experience some more snow adventures!!

Blogging

Well, here I go into the blogging world! My friend has convinced me to get it going and when she informed me that you can have all of the blog postings printed into a book, that is all it took. I am so behind on the boys scrapbook so this may be the next best thing to keep up with all of their happenings!
