4 Weeks Old

I can hardly believe that 4 weeks ago this little boy was in my belly! It has gone by so fast and I know that it only gets faster from here!!! He is awake more during the day and loves to lie on his playmat and look around, he will swing himself to sleep and loves to be held...especially when he is sleeping. He often wakes as soon as I put him down. Rotten already...but that's okay. He sleeps most of the night, I usually have to wake him around 3 to feed him and he will go back to sleep until I get him up to take the older boys to school. Next week we go for his 1 month check-up and get his first shots, so that should be interesting. Can't wait to see how much he has grown in these last 3 weeks.

First Bath

Cullen had his first bath in the big tub the other night. His chord fell off this week so the boys were anxious to watch him get a bath. He loves the water, and will lie there forever just looking around. The boys are just dying to get in with him...I think we will wait a while for that :)

Brothers

The big brothers are adjusting well to their new baby! They always want to hold him, feed him, bath him, and kiss all over him! I am sure the newness will wear off soon and they won't pay him near as much attention, but right now they are all over him. Mason loves to watch him get his diaper changed especially when he poops...gross I know! And Braxton loves to hear him burp...typical boys, and now I have 3! WOW! What fun we have in store for us :) Mason thinks he is big stuff when he gets to hold him!!

Cullen

Cullen was born March 2, 2011 at 10:08 a.m. He weighed 9lbs. 2oz and was 21 1/4 long. He is happy and healthy and we are so glad he is finally here. We are home now and just getting used to everything. These are some pictures of his first few days in the hospital, it felt like we were there forever!!

The End!!

So many thought we wouldn't make it...well here we are at 39 weeks and we made it to the end! Tomorrow is the delivery day and we are so excited to FINALLY meet him. I am not sure how much Braxton will sleep tonight, he is just beside himself with excitement. Mason says he is so excited but I am just not convinced yet...I don't think he really gets the whole picture . It is such a good thing that he looks up to Braxton and wants to do everything he does, he will just follow Braxton's lead, and hopefully be okay! So the next post will be a picture of their baby brother, our 3rd son, the one that makes us a family of 5 instead of 4, a precious gift from God...Cullen Thomas...we cannot wait to meet you!
