Of this sweet boy! Braxton has done so well in first grade so far. We had his parent/teacher conference day yesterday and received his first "real" report card. He got all A's...not just A's but 100 averages in all subjects except one and it was a 95. We couldn't be prouder of him! His teacher absolutely adores him and thinks he is the greatest! She said so many nice things about him and I am so thankful that she loves him so. She has taught him so much already and we are looking forward to all the new things to come! Good job Braxton, keep up the good work!!!

Fall Break
Another great trip to Orange Beach, to enjoy our Fall Break! This time of year is perfect to plan a trip there. Fantastic weather, no sweating, no lines, no waiting, no traffic, wish we could have stayed all week. So much fun for all, especially the boys.
We built sandcastles

Old Baker Farm
Our friends, Ryan and Leah live on "Old Baker Farm" along with her parents and cousin. (Not together...they all have their own houses, in fact Leah and Ryan live in her grandparents old farm house, and it is beautiful!) They have a family owned and operated pumpkin patch every year. Leah's sisters and their husbands all come on the weekends to help out and even some of the older grandchildren were there working. I was just amazed at how much work goes into this and cannot imagine how exhausted they must be at the end of a weekend! They are wonderful host and we had a fantastic time. The boys always enjoy going out there even when its not pumpkin season. Braxton especially loves the freedom to run, ride and explore that great big farm!

Busy Weekend Recap
What a busy...but fun weekend we had. I am loving these cooler temps! Saturday we headed to Birmingham to celebrate sweet Hudson's 2nd birthday. The boys enjoyed the jumping house...that's always a hit with them. We had a blast hanging out with them all day and watching all the great football games that were on. We did not get home until after midnight and we were exhausted! We had to get up bright and early Sunday morning because Braxton was asked to play in a travel ball tournament. The first game started at 9:00 and the last game was at 2:45. Long day at the ballfield but the cooler weather made it quite nice to be out. The boys all played their little hearts out, I honestly don't know how they can do so much in one day! If only I had just a piece of their energy!
We will all be getting to bed early tonight to catch up on some sleep!
