Mother's Day

I love being a Mommy and I am so glad that God picked me to be the mommy of my 3 boys. I cannot imagine my life without them and each one adds their own spice to the family. I love Mother's Day crafts! I cannot wait to get home and get to see what the boys made for me at school This year takes the prize with Braxton silhoutte. I love it and can't wait to get it framed. Cullen's sweet little handprints and Mason's beautiful flower were just icing on the cake. Home-made gifts are my favorite by far.

The boys surprised me with a new Keurig! I am having the best time tasting the different flavors and oh how I love just having to stick my mug underneath and press the button. How nice!!
Nothing could be better than these 3 prizes though. They are the reason I get to celebrate. Thank you God for giving me the opportunity to love these children! I am forever thankful!!

Happy Mother's Day 2012!

Baseball Boys

So proud of these two boys! They have had an outstanding season so far and I just cannot say enough about them. They both are on teams that...let's just say I would not have chosen these teams, nor coaches, if I got to pick. Unfortunately when you are good you get picked up quick by the lucky coach that gets to pick first. That's what happened this year and it has been a good learning experience for everyone. Braxton has grown and matured so much on and off the field. He has become a leader and an encourager to his teammates. He has, for the most part, carried his team every.single.game. His frustration with his teammates hasn't gotten the best of him and he keeps on going. I am so proud of him, not because of how many outs he gets, or how many home runs he hits, but because he has become someone that others look up to. That makes my heart super happy!!
Mason...well he is just Mason. My little Tasmanian Devil. That kid is something else and he is making a name for himself right quick! When he is on he is ON! What I love about him is that he is happy just to be there playing in a game. Always smiling, even when he strikes out. He hit a grand slam during the game this past weekend and still doesn't even realize how awesome it was, all he wants to do is make it home and score a run.   I hope he is always this way playing sports. It is much less stressful watching him play than Braxton! :) The season is winding down and I am looking forward to watching the last few weeks of ball. Come on sweet summer~time!

Riley Jones Griffin

We are so excited for Ashley and Chris and their precious miracle Riley! Riley was born on January 30, at 26 weeks! He weighed 1 lb 14 oz, and 14 inches long. He spent about 12 weeks in the NICU at Baptist South. He is finally home Praise the Lord! And we cannot wait to watch him grow! I am so thrilled that Cullen will have a cousin close to his age, and I hope that they will be big buds! Congratulations Ashley and Chris! You ARE fantastic parents!
The first time I saw Riley, he was only 2 days old here

NOW, almost 3 months old! Unbelievable...what a precious gift from GOD! He weighs well over 5lbs now and is doing great.
We continue to pray for little Riley as he faces the day to day challenges of being a preemie. We are so proud of how far he has come! Cannot wait for him to get to meet the boys!

Doing good...

So proud of himself!

FIVE

1 yr
That must be the magic number...Mason has just been dying to be 5! Today when he woke, he asked if he was 5 yet and I said yes...his face lit up like a firecracker. He was so excited.
Happy Happy day to you our sweet, sweet boy! You always have a smile...and you can light up any room. You are all about having a good time! You are delightful and helpful. Don't get me wrong you are most definitely stubborn, strong-willed, fearless and full of energy, but that is what makes you, YOU! And we love you more than you will ever know. You are a special little boy and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for you. Hope turning 5 was all you dreamed it to be. LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

Packing up

All good things must come to an end...even though we would have stayed another week! This was the best trip ever and we cannot wait to go back.
We slept late and enjoyed some time in the arcade before we headed over to Downtown Disney. We ate a yummy lunch at Hollywood Studios and did a little shopping. The kids enjoyed Lego Land. It was neat to see all the action figures made out of Lego's. I bet that took some time!

We headed for home...the longest drive ever! The boys were out before we even got out of Orlando! They slept for about the first 2.5 to 3 hours then is was "are we almost home?" "how much longer? How many more minutes, how many more hours, if I counted how high would I have to go before we are home?"

I cannot say enough about this trip. The boys are still talking about it and probably will for a long time. I am so glad they enjoyed it and I loved seeing how happy they were. It truly is 'the happiest place on earth!'
